Cathedral Saint Kilian and Schönborn Chapel

The cathedral is a masterpiece of German architecture during the time of the Salian dynasty. It is the fourth largest, Romanic-era cathedral in Germany. The attached Schönborn Chapel is a masterpiece by Balthasar Neumann.

After extensive, interior renovations, the Cathedral reopened in 2012 on the first Sunday in advent. The cathedral is even more beautiful now than it was before.
