Museum für Franken – State Museum for Art and Cultural History in Würzburg

Largest collection of works by Tilman Riemenschneider; original sculptures from the Veitshöchheim Castle by Ferdinand Tietz. Art from Franconian artists, prehistoric collection. Artifacts from the Franconian wine heritage, folklore collection.

City history collection in the Fürstenbau includes two large models of the City of Würzburg: one from the time of the Middle Ages and one from 1945 showing the destruction of WWII. Banner of St. Kilian from 1266.

Children’s section with activities for families and its own children’s audio guide.

Adults: €5, Reduced: €4, Groups of 15 or more people: €4 per person, Children and Youth under 18: Free, Sunday admission: €1
With Verbundkarte public transportation ticket, the entry fee and a guided tour of the castle are €7.
